On 29th August the festival of Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated.

Raksha Bandhan in Sanskrit literally means ”the tie or knot of protection”. It is an ancient Hindu festival that ritually celebrates the love and duty between brothers and their sisters.


These Quilled Envelopes are inspired from the beautiful "Rakhi" which sisters tie on the hands of their brothers symbolizing the love and affection.

An ideal gift for sisters, these envelopes make good gifts for sisters, it can be used as money envelopes, gift cards can be kept inside, also an ideal way to send across a heartfelt hand written message.

Quilled Cards for all Occassions

Hi all, Once you have practiced a few Quilling shapes like circle/round, basic tear drop some variations of the tear drop like heart shape. You can make different kinds of flowers. Here are a few examples of cards i have made, it can be used for any purpose from birthdays to season greetings, or a thank you card.  Quilled card using basic heart shape and marquise shape, i refer to it as basic leaf shape. A quilled card made with white and green strips of paper, on a blue card. The flower and leaf are made with marquise shape.the butterfly made of two heart shapes, with yellow spiral, a red coil is added as a center to yellow flower and is put on a contract background.
