Quilled Cards for all Occassions

Hi all,

Once you have practiced a few Quilling shapes like circle/round, basic tear drop some variations of the tear drop like heart shape. You can make different kinds of flowers.

Here are a few examples of cards i have made, it can be used for any purpose from birthdays to season greetings, or a thank you card.

Quilled card using basic heart shape and marquise shape, i refer to it as basic leaf shape.

A quilled card made with white and green strips of paper, on a blue card.

The flower and leaf are made with marquise shape.the butterfly made of two heart shapes, with yellow spiral, a red coil is added as a center to yellow flower and is put on a contract background.

This red flower is made from heart shaped petals, with two leaves added to it.the stem can be made with a strip of green paper.

A floral design card in red colors with green scrolls.

the basic tear drop shape is used to create petals and a yellow circle is put as centre. The scrolls give a different effect.

A yellow card with delicate blue flower made using beehive technique of quilling with a green stem.

In this another technique known as the beehive technique is used, a strip of paper is shaped into small scrolls and then attached to a teardrop shape.this gives a very delicate and traditional look.it looks difficult but is very easy once you master it.leaves are marquise shaped attached with the stem.

A bunch of buds in red colour with a green stem.

The teardrop shape is used to create buds and attached to a stem.

A cute orange flower card with a contrast blue butterfly.

circles of quilled orange strips are used to make this flower with a red centre. the butterfly is a heart shape with blue scrolls.

A yellow flower  and a cute red butterfly.

Again the heart shape is used in a variation yellow and white centre, scrolls of green colour are added along with leaves.
