Quilled Envelopes

This is my first post for DIWALI 2018, looking forward to making a few more on other DIY decorations for the home.

The festive season has begun, celebrations are going on everywhere, Navrathri has just finished and Diwali is around the corner, all of you will be busy cleaning your houses and planning for the snacks to be made and gifts to be bought for friends and relatives.one of the ways of giving gifts is by way of giving money or  give gift vouchers/ gift cards of popular shopping sites or spa.

This inspired me to make quilled envelopes. I made flowers and leaves and arranged them on envelopes and decorated with pearls and sequins.

I have made a variety of design on envelopes with floral patterns

The first one is a cream envelope with a  dark blue flower.

The second one is a deep maroon coloured flower, made using a crimper tool, with olive green leaves.

This one is a red envelope and a contrast yellow flower with lots of leaves.

The next one is a red envelope with two yellow flowers.

The next one is a lavender coloured flower on a golden yellow envelope which also has a golden border.

This one is a yellow flower made with the crimper tool which gives a nice texture to the petals.

This one is a cream envelope with maroon flowers, the green coloured leaves perfectly match the flowers.

Another red envelope with yellow flowers, the colours red and yellow go well together.

The last one is a maroon flower on a cream envelope with green leaves.

This picture has all the envelopes put together.

Now, we are reaching towards the end of the post, requesting all the readers to try these at home
and give valuable feedback and suggestions.
