ICQG Challenge no 51 #ICQG51

Hi, All This is my third post of book covers, I enjoy quilling a lot, even though I am unable to spend more time to pursue it, but I try to grab every opportunity to create something new and interesting. This is my first attempt on Quilling Monograms, I am happy with the results. I have used the colours gold, white, black and grey for the letter. the outline is done with Black paper which I have cut using a shredder. the white beehive is also white paper cut using a shredder. the gold and grey strips are precut ones. To create monogram quilling a lot of patience is required.as it involves many techniques and at times you have to place different designs to check which looks the best and then stick the final design.

The basic cover is silver handmade paper. the designs are done using various quilling patterns like teardrop, marquis and beehive. A piece of blue cardstock with a contrast light colour pattern card is attached to write a name. The second design is simple and elegant made of green handmade paper with pink and purple flowers. the flowers are arranged in a semi-circle pattern.
